Our
History
Corporate
Dining, Inc. is celebrating its seventeenth year of serving
our clients. The company was started in 1986 with its first
operations projects for TRW, Inc., BellSouth, The BFGoodrich
Company, BPAmerican and Ashland Oil. Design services were
added in 1988. The addition of Nationwide Insurance placed
us on the national stage of corporate dining. It was the first program to provide corporate wide liaisons national support for quality assurance and customer satisfaction. These
programs led to formalized innovations in the process of benchmarking
in 1994 and the development of FoodMark.
During
our history we have provided tactical problem solving, strategic
planning and design development for over fifty of the largest
corporations in the world, serving over 500 dining service
sites. The benchmarking, survey and workshop family includes
in excess of 200 corporations and 1,500 sites.
We now
have associates offices in North Carolina, New York, and Wisconsin.
Corporate Dining, Inc. is now a family of twelve employees
and associates conducting over seventy projects per year.
The stage is set for continuous improvement for the next fifteen
years.
Hands
On Experience
Corporate
Dining's project managers are all former food service operators.
We have operated at all levels from utility, back of the house
up and through unit, regional and executive management. Having
worked "in the trenches" provides the opportunity to easily
communicate with the staff and verify site conditions and
operating statements and subsidy.
We have
worked the jobs, run the business, developed the pro formas,
negotiated the contracts and retained the results for your
use.

Data to Develop Your Ideal Operating Conditions - FoodMarkTM
Corporate
Dining maintains a clearinghouse for benchmarking data of
on-site food service financial and statistical data for the
use of clients. It is based on the ASQ International Clearing
House Code of Ethics for confidentiality and distribution.
It represents over fifty corporations and three hundred operating
units.
It is
the only nationally recognized database by all of the national
contractors, The Society for Foodservice Management (SFM)
and major national self operators. It is a web based national
financial monitoring program for our clients to compare externally
to like and similar facilities. The Society for Foodservices Management uses the FoodMarkTM process to conduct it's Annual Benchmarking Study.
Corporate
Dining strives to be an Active Leader in the Foodservice Industry
Leaders
are learners and teachers. We actively seek leadership roles
in the industry and development of new management methods,
tools and practices. A few of the foodservice industry leadership
positions within Corporate Dining: Board Members & President
of Society for Food Service Management; Chairperson for SFM
National Benchmarking Committee; CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator)
Designation from The American Hotel & Motel Association; American
Dietetics Association Regional President; Registered Dietitian;
Licensed Dietitian and Foodservice Consulting Society International
Professional.
